SB 6200

During Washington’s 2026 legislative session we are advocating for Senate Bill 6200.

SB 6200, “Concerning renters’ and mobile home occupants’ ability to install portable cooling devices,” will give tenants the right to install and use portable cooling devices.

By passing SB 6200, Washington can prevent hundreds of deaths and cases of severe illness when extreme heat strikes.
